Ordering Online & Processing Orders.

By placing an Online Order with us here on Wickstead’s, you confirm that:

  • The information you provide is true, accurate and complete in all respects
  • You confirm that you are over the legal age to purchase online & are also legally, capable and authorised to enter into a contract.
  • If you place an order for any age-restricted products, you warrant that you meet the age requirement for that product. It is an offence to buy or attempt to buy age-restricted products if you are under age or to purchase such products for someone else who is under age.
  • You confirm that as the buyer/receiver that the delivery address you have entered with your order is a secure location where your mail can be delivered securely, safely & where only yourself or an authorised person on your behalf (e.g spouse, member of your household) can collect/receive it.
  • You accept our Terms & Conditions set out here.

Ordering & Purchasing.

  • Orders are placed Online for products or services:
    • When you press the ‘Pay Now’ or ‘Proceed to PayPal’ button at the end of the online checkout process.
    • You will be given the opportunity to confirm the details of your order, including your billing address, shipping address and payment details, prior to completing your order. Orders paid with PayPal will be taken through to PayPal to complete the payment.
      • When you place an order & full payment has been received you will be sent a confirmation email to let you know that we have received your order.
      • On the rare occasion that your order has not been accepted you will be notified via email as soon as possible. Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:
        • The product you ordered is unavailable from stock.
        • There is a problem with your payment method.
        • A pricing or product description error has been identified.
        • We are unable to deliver the products due to local import restrictions or requirements at your delivery destination.
        • You do not meet our eligibility to order criteria or are in breach of any of our T&Cs or other law.

Processing Terms & Times

  • Please see our Delivery & Returns page for Processing Times
  • We will make every effort to ensure your order is processed, dispatched & delivered within the estimated timescales listed below (& in our delivery T&Cs). However, delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors or events outside of our control, e.g. material shortages, higher than anticipated demand, weather conditions, travel or transportation disruption, strikes (postal, customs etc), customs checks or import delays. Wickstead’s shall not be liable for any delay or failure by us to deliver your order within the estimated timescale as a result of such delays.
  • Most Orders will be processed & dispatched within 1-5 or 5-10 working days from the day full payment has been received for your order.  Unless otherwise agreed with us prior to purchasing, stated in the listing, stated at the checkout or stated in an announcement on our homepage (e.g. holiday announcements). For a full list of our current processing times please see HERE.
  • Select made to order items & Personalised listings (our standard listings with personalisation option) will be made processed & dispatched within 9-10 working days. Unless otherwise agreed with us prior to purchasing, stated in the listing, stated at the checkout or stated in an announcement on our homepage (e.g. holiday announcements).
  • Select made to order 3D items (e.g. Our edible Teepee’s, Roses, Flowers, Blossoms, Crowns & Tiaras) will be made processed & dispatched within 15-20 working days. Unless otherwise agreed with us prior to purchasing, stated in the listing, stated at the checkout or stated in an announcement on our homepage (e.g. holiday announcements).
  • Custom Orders processing time will be discussed with customers through conversations. Processing times for custom orders will vary depending on what you would like us to make and when you need them by etc. We suggest (if possible) to order/contact us months in advance prior to the date you will need your order for. We do accept custom orders placed year/s in advance too.
  • Once orders have been processed & made in the time frames quoted, they will then be dispatched. Once dispatched postage/shipping times then apply.
  • We will send you an email notification once your order has been dispatched. If you have chosen a shipping option with tracking your tracking number will be available on your order receipt within 24 hours (excluding weekends and UK bank holidays) once your order has been marked as dispatched.
  • If our design, making or preparation in processing your order is delayed by an unforeseen event outside our control, then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know & we will take steps to minimise the effect of this delay. Provided that we do this, we will not be liable for delays caused by this event. If there is a risk of substantial delay we will contact you again to let you know & may (depending on what you have order) offer you the option to end your contract with us & receive a refund for any products you have paid for. (personalised items that we have already started to design, make &/or process cannot be cancelled).

Prices & Payment.

  • We accept payment by Wickstead’s Gift Cards, PayPal balances and most major debit & credit cards via PayPal.
  • All prices are shown in (£) GBP Sterling. PayPal will automatically convert our prices to your countries currency for you.
  • For orders delivered outside the UK & European Union, PLEASE NOTE: some countries may prohibit the import of certain items (e.g. edibles) & that you may be subject, but not limited to: import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees, which are decided on by your own country. Any of these additional import charges are THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY of the buyer/receiver of the order. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. These fees are NOT already figured into our shop prices or shipping costs quoted. Customs policies vary widely from country to country and are often changing; you should contact your local customs office for further information.
  • Although we try our best to ensure all our products prices displayed in the products description are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of one of our products that you have ordered, we may be unable to accept your order & shall contact you as soon as possible to give you the option of either reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we do not hear back from you within a reasonable time frame (we will usually go by our processing times), we will treat your order in respect of the incorrectly priced product as cancelled.

International Orders

  • International orders may be subject to local taxes, import duties or other local requirements. If any custom requirements apply or charges that are due, as the buyer/receiver of the order you agree to be responsible for these charges should they occur. These fees are not already figured into our shop prices or shipping costs quoted. Customs policies vary widely from country to country and are often changing; you should contact your local customs office for further information.

Although the majority of our items can be imported worldwide, some countries may prohibit the import of certain items. Before placing an order, it is your responsibility to check that the products you are planning to import comply with state & federal government import regulations. Wickstead’s is not responsible should local Customs confiscate your products or charge any import duty on your products.

Delivery

  • Deliveries will be carried out by third party postal services &/or couriers.
  • It is your responsibility to provide us with & confirm that the delivery location is the correct location & is spelt correctly, this includes not only the address that your order is going to, but also the name of its recipient. A surcharge will be applied for re-delivery due to incorrect delivery address being given. We will not be liable for delivery of your order as a result of you supplying us with incomplete or inaccurate information.
  • As the buyer/receiver of an order from us, it is your sole responsibility to provide a secure & safe location to deliver your order.
  • We will make every effort to ensure your order is processed, dispatched & delivered within the estimated timescales listed below (& in our processing times T&Cs). However, delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors or events outside of our control, e.g. weather conditions, travel or transportation disruption, strikes (postal, customs etc), customs checks, material shortages, higher than anticipated demand or import delays. Wickstead’s shall not be liable for any delay or failure by us to deliver your order within the estimated timescale as a result of such delays.
  • Select items may require a signature on delivery.
  • Please note that delivery of your order may take longer during busy Holiday periods. E.g. November to January for the busy winter Holiday season.
  • Please note: If you have ordered several items in one order they may arrive on different days or from different couriers, but you will not be charge for the additional deliveries.

Delivery/Shipping Times

Once orders have been, designed (if applicable), made (if applicable), processed & dispatched, Delivery Times then apply. Standard Shipping can take approximately:

  • 3-6 Working Days – UK mainland.
  • 4-7 Working Days – UK Scottish Highlands, Western Isles, Shetland Islands, Orkney Islands, Isle of White & the Isle of Man (Jersey & Guernsey see Europe shipping times) 
  • 3-20 Working Days – Europe (Average 3-7 working days)
  • 5-25 Working Days – USA & Canada (Average 5-15 working days) (atm most arrive around the 6th-10th working days)
  • 5-25 Working Days – Rest of the World (Average 5-15 working days)

PLEASE NOTE

  • These are estimated delivery times only, they are not guaranteed.
  • Delivery times can occasionally be longer than quoted depending on any delays on route, strikes, weather, customs checks, travel or transportation disruption etc.
  • Over holidays delivery times will more than likely take longer, particularly over the Christmas-New Year holiday season. (from Thanksgiving -New Year for USA)
  • These times are for our Delivery times only & do not include our processing times.
    UK Holidays & Bank Holidays (e.g. Easter 4-day weekend, May Day etc) will not be working days here in the UK, so therefore are not included in the working day’s processing times. Even if you purchase Rush Processing (unless we have discussed this prior to your purchase), we will still not be able to ship on these Holiday days though as most postal/courier services are closed or have limited services themselves)
  • Express Courier Shipping Upgrade** is available at the checkout for all customers outside the UK & Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery or Express Courier Next Day Delivery** for our UK Customers. If these options are not available at the checkout, they will be available upon request. Please contact us for more details.
    International Express Shipping is a 1-3 or 2-5 working day Courier delivery service depending on your exact delivery location and the courier service available to there.
    **Please note these Express & RM Special Delivery times apply once orders have been dispatched (processing times still apply) **Both of these Shipping upgrades EXCLUDES weekend delivery, as well as all bank holiday & holiday delivery days, they are for working day/weekday delivery only. For International Express Shipping, all Holidays/Bank Holidays in the recipients Country will ALSO be excluded delivery days (unless the courier company used works on that day). **If you have chosen Express Shipping Upgrade (international) a phone number WILL be required in order for us to complete the courier booking, please put this either in a note on your order or an email/message to us as soon as you have ordered. Please note failure to supply us with a number upon request or on your order record or email to us may result in the delay of your order being dispatched within our quoted or agreed upon dispatch time.
  • Some orders will require a signature upon delivery or someone to be in to take them in. This is your responsibility to make sure you yourself, or someone on your behalf, is there to do this or for you to arrange re-delivery/collection if no one is in. We will not be held responsible for any returned parcels due to no recipient being there to sign for/take them in.
  • If you have selected a next day or Saturday special delivery or express courier, please make sure you (or someone) is able to be there to take these in, this is your responsibility to make sure you yourself, or someone on your behalf, is in to do this. We will not be held responsible for any delayed deliveries due to local post or couriers being unable to deliver as recipient is not in.
  • For both UK & International Orders, a phone number will be required for certain items (e.g. china sets & high value items) & any orders sent by courier or express courier. To avoid delay please leave you’re a phone number in the notes on your order at the checkout, or message us with a phone number once you have purchased. If you do not add this number to your order, we will contact you asap, please note failure to supply us with a number upon request or on your order record or email to us may result in the delay of your order being dispatched within our quoted or agreed upon dispatch time.
  • We are not responsible for delays outside of our control, e.g. weather conditions, travel or transportation disruptions, delays on route, strikes or custom checks etc.
  • If after a failed delivery to you( due to for example, us being given the incorrect address or no one is in to collect/sign for the order & you do not re-arrange delivery or collect your order), or you refuse a delivery & the item/s is returned to us,  then we will contact you for further instructions & may charge you for any further delivery costs &/or storage costs. Customers/receivers who refuse a delivery must contact us to let us know why they have refused an order, unless already previously discussed with us prior to its refusal and return. Should we not hear from you within a reasonable time frame, we may end your order contract with us. Should any of these occur we may not refund any money you have paid in advance for the products which have been returned to us. We may also deduct or charge you a reasonable compensation for the net costs we will incur as a result of your failed or refused delivery for any of these or similar such reasons. All perishable, personalised, made to order & custom goods that are returned due to failed or refused delivery are non-refundable. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
  • We are not responsible for any loss or damaged that is not foreseeable. We will however help you as best we can to find your package & file claims where necessary/possible, please contact us for more information. 
  • As the buyer/receiver it is your sole responsibility to comply with all requirements imposed by local customs & authorities within your own Country in relation to your order (including requirements regarding the provision of identification information to receive your order (usually if you need to go to your local postal service/courier to collect the order). We recommend that you make yourself aware of local import duties and any other requirements when placing your order.

Our Products Description, Prices & Availability

  • We reserve the right to change all prices, descriptions & images as & when needed.
  • We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all prices, product descriptions & product images are correct. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the appearances, colours, textures or finishes of our products. What you will see will depend on your computer equipment, screen or monitor (plus their settings), we are therefore unable to guarantee that a product’s images are an accurate representation of the actual merchandise we sell.
  • The Vintage & Antique items that we will be selling may show light signs of wear commensurate with age. Any major marks, flaws or damage will be pointed out in the listings description &/or our product pictures. We will inspect each item closely as we list them.
  • Most of our Vintage, Antique or Handmade items may be one offs, limited quantities/designs & difficult to find or repeat again. Buy them while you can. If you are after a specific item then please feel free to contact us, we may have something in stock not yet listed or can keep an eye out for you in our travels.
  • All the Plates, Cake stands, Teacups, Coffee Cups, Cakes, Biscuits, Breads, Cookies, Tarts & any other non-edible & edible creations that our ‘EAT ME’ Edibles may be shown displayed, on are not included with any of our listings unless otherwise stated in the listing that they may be shown pictured in.
    Some of the non-edible creations our edibles are photographed on may be for sale separately in another section of our other shops. (usually we will try to include the link to that item on in the listings details unless it has sold out (or is not for sale)). Please feel free to contact us for enquiries.
  • All our ‘Eat Me’ Edibles are made to order & have at least a 1 year shelf life if they are kept in an airtight container (or kept in the vacuum packet we send them in) in a room temperature dark space (an airtight container inside a draw or cupboard away from too much heat would work)
    As these are made fresh to order the one year starts from when we start making your order.
    We recommend keeping them either in the vacuum packet we send them to you in or place them in an airtight container until you are ready to use them.
  • All orders are subject to availability. Once a product is sold out, it will be taken off the website & may not be available again.
  • We will do our best to remove any products which have sold out at the earliest opportunity. Although the stock count of products changes as soon as an order has been places, if there is a delay between the time when you place an order & the time when your order is accepted, the stock position relating to a particular product may change. If a product you have ordered becomes out of stock before your order has cleared, Wickstead’s shall not be liable to you for being unable to provide that product. If such a situation should arise then we shall notify you as soon as possible, you will have the option to pick something else or a refund for that product & shipping (combined or otherwise) that goes with that product. Any out of stock items purchased with a Wickstead’s Gift Card will be refunded back onto another or the same Wickstead’s Gift Card the item was purchased with. If the out of stock item was purchased with a voucher which was to be used for a minimum amount or minimum amount of items & the order no longer covers this order the voucher will be null & void for this order (you should still be able to use the voucher again though if the time frame permits, or we have discussed so via conversations)
  • If due to unforeseen circumstances or in the event of supply difficulties, it is necessary to substitute a product from a Gift Set, Box, Hamper or any other Multibuy listing. The substituted product will be a product similar to the original & of equal or greater value than that which it has replaced, albeit at no extra cost to you. If this instance should occur we shall contact you prior to posting your order.
  • We try our best to ensure all our products prices, descriptions & images displayed in the products listing are accurate, errors may occur though, we will rectify these as soon as they are discovered. If we discover an error in the price of one of our products that you have ordered, we may be unable to accept your order & shall contact you as soon as possible to give you the option of either reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we do not hear back from you within a reasonable time frame (we will usually go by our processing times), we will treat your order in respect of the incorrectly priced product as cancelled.
  • We reserve the right not to sell or deliver any age-restricted Product to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the required age.

Personalised, Custom, Bespoke & Made to Order Products/Orders.

  • For listings where personalised text, a message or gift message can be added. Please make sure you triple check your spelling we will be writing exactly what you have written. When choosing smaller designs e.g. 4cm circles we suggest to only do a few words of text (2-3 tops) any longer and you may find the text is too small to read. If you are not sure if your text will fit in the size item you would like, please contact us & we shall help you to work this out. We will not be responsible for any spelling mistakes you may have made
  • For listings where files can be uploaded. Files must be a PNG or JPEG file & must be at least the required pixels laid out in appropriate listing, any less & your picture may be blurry. We will not be responsible for blurry pictures.
  • Colours for Edibles when printed onto our Eat Me Edible Transfer Sheets or Vanilla Wafers can be slightly softer & may/will come out slightly different to your image on screen. We do try to get them as close as possible to your image, if there is a problem with the colouring on your image we will contact you.
  • We will not be responsible for any blurry, dark, or unclear images or text that is too small to read, we will however try our best to assist you.
  • We will not be responsible for any delays in making, processing & dispatching your order due to failure to provide us with the correct file type & file, a usable image or incorrect information/spelling/text that is too long for your chosen size. To avoid delay please, triple check your spellings, upload only a PNG or JPEG file in the pixels mentioned in the appropriate listing & choose an appropriate size shape/design for your length of text & only upload pictures with bright, vivid or pastel colours & pictures which have enough exposure (too dark & you may not be able to see the detail in your image)
  • We reserve the right to cancel any orders without prior warning that are sexist, racist, violent, promotes violence, obscene, contains nudity, violates the law, violates copyright law or any other reason that we find discriminating or inappropriate or violates our terms & conditions set out here on our website

Returns & Cancellations

We are sure that you will be delighted with your purchase/s but if for any reason you are not satisfied then please contact us.

To cancel or return an item please contact us via our contact form or email. Please ensure that you provide a clear statement that you wish to cancel &/or return your order together with the reason you wish to cancel &/or return your order, your order number, your contact details (email & postage address) & details of the products you wish to cancel.

  • We comply with the ‘Consumer Contracts Regulations UK’.
  • Whilst the below policies apply to many of the items that we sell there are often exceptions due to the nature of some of the goods that we sell & services we offer. For instance, certain antique, vintage, bespoke, custom, personalised & perishable goods (Eat Me Edibles) as well as items on Hold/part of a customers ‘Build a Box’ (please see our Wicksteads Facebook group for more details on how to build a box) are exempt from these policies. Please contact us if you have any queries about your purchase.
  • Unwanted products may be returned for a refund or exchange, providing our terms & conditions for returns is permitted & followed & they are in their original, unused & saleable condition. The removal of any seals & security packaging will be taken as evidence of use of a product by you and the product cannot be returned in these circumstances. Please note that your right to cancel or return a product does not apply to non-returnable products listed below.
  • Please read our Returns Policy in full if you wish to return an item/order. Certain items are non-returnable or unable to be cancelled.
  • Prior to returning your products to us, you are obliged to keep & take reasonable care of them.
  • Please note that your right to cancel or return an item/order does not apply to certain types of products. (Please see our non-refundable & non-cancellable products list below)
  • Returns & Refunds will not be issued or accepted when: 14 days has passed since our UK & EU Customer has received their order or 7 days has passed since our International Customers have received their order.
  • Return shipping cost must be paid by the customer/receiver of the item/order. We will not issue a refund for the price of return shipping.
  • If a promotional discount or coupon code was applied to your original order, the same discount will be applied to each product of your order upon return. You will only be refunded the amount that you originally paid for your order or any given product.
  • Any free promotional gift given with your order or free gift/s given through a coupon code with your order must also be returned if you are returning the product(s) to which the gift relates.
  • If you fail to return the free gift with your order or comply with our T&Cs regarding free gifts or have already used/opened/removed packaging from the free gift so can no longer return it, the value of the free gift will be deducted from any refund or coupon value you may be given.
  • Free Gifts cannot be exchanged for a different product, coupon or refunded.
  • If you believe your product/s are faulty, please contact us.

Cancellation

  • If for any reason you wish to cancel an order* with us which has not been dispatched yet, you must let us know 2 working days before your order is due to be dispatched, if you have purchased a large order (6+ items) please contact us 4 working days before your order is due to be dispatched. Please see our processing times for more details for when an order is scheduled to be dispatched, please note we do often dispatch orders a lot sooner than quoted in our processing T&Cs. Once we have received notification & you have told us why you wish to cancel your order, a refunded process will be started. Provided the items have not been dispatched or processed for dispatch, then a refund will be processed as per our returns policies please see Returns Policy for more details. *Please note that certain items/orders cannot be cancelled e.g. custom, bespoke, personalised & perishable (Eat Me) goods. Please see our non-returnable products for more details.
  • If an order has already been dispatched for delivery or processed for delivery, please wait until you receive your order before starting the returns process. If you wish to receive a refund which is accepted under our returns policy, you must return all items/products which you have received to us in their original condition with all their original packaging. Please see our returns policies for full details.
  • Cancellations Refund: If you order has not yet been dispatched & you have asked for your order to be cancelled & you have followed our terms & conditions set out here, then your refund will be processed & refunded within fourteen (14) working days from the day we receive your items/order back, providing your order has not been paid with a Lay-Away plan.
  • Any cancelled orders originally paid for with a Lay-Away plan will be refunded minus the initial 25% deposit of the total order.  

Returns

  • Products must be returned in their original saleable condition. Products must be unused & in all their original packaging with tags, security seals still attached & intact when they are returned to us. We reserve the right to consider the condition of any product that you wish to return & make deductions if there are indications that the product, its tags, security seals have been used, removed, broken or tampered with.
  • If you wish to return the goods* & are a UK or EU customer then please process a return within 14 days after the day on which you receive your order. If you are an International customer please process a return within 7 days after the day on which you receive your order. Items/Orders must be back in our hands within 30 Days from the day in which you receive your order. * This is providing it is an item/order which can be returned, your right to cancel does not apply to products listing in our non-returnable products, please see our Returns Policy for more details.
  • Returns & Refunds will not be issued or accepted when: 14 days has passed since our UK & EU Customer has received their order or 7 days has passed since our International Customers have received their order. Refunds may not be issued if the item/order is not received within the 30-day time frame mentioned above.
  • Refunds will be provided against the original form of tender. We will not refund to an alternative credit/debit card or alternative PayPal account. Items purchased with a Wickstead’s Gift Card or Voucher will be refunded onto either the original Wickstead’s Gift Card or on to a new Wickstead’s Gift Card.
  • Returns Refund: Provided the items have not been dispatched or processed for dispatch, & the return follows our terms & conditions set out here, then your refund will be processed & refunded within fourteen (14) working days from the day we receive your items/order back. For orders of 6 or more items a refund will be processed within twenty-eight (28) working days from the day we receive your items/order back. (it will take us longer to check large orders)
  • Return shipping cost must be paid by the customer/receiver of the item/order. We will not issue a refund for the price of return shipping.
  • We may reduce your refund, if the products have decreased in value due to the way you have handled them, should this be the case, the amount owed for the decrease in value will be deducted from the amount due to be reimbursed to you. When returning your products to us we suggest ensuring they are packed safely as to help ensure no damage in transit to us, any damage in transit will be deducted from the amount due.
  • Refunds & exchanges on purchases made on an event day or/& with a promotional discount will be calculated at the reduced price. If a complimentary gift has been issued with a purchase, the gift must also be returned, this includes samples.
  • Once an item/order is returned to us in a saleable condition as stated in these policies. We will refund you the price of your item in full (providing it has not decreased in value as stated in our policies). If you are in the UK & the item you are returning is NOT a Vintage, Antique or any other item noted in our ‘non-returnable list’ we will also refund you our standard/basic postage cost only, we will not refund any additional cost if you opted in for an enhanced service such as guaranteed next day special delivery, Saturday delivery or a courier service. E.g if you chose a guaranteed next day delivery service, we will refund you the price we charge for our standard/basic postage only, not the full price of this added on service. For EU & International orders we do not refund your original shipping costs paid or any applicable local customs duties charged to you by your Country, certain countries permit refunds of custom duties paid on product you subsequently return, however, you will need to apply to your local authority to process that.
  • For Vintage, Antique & any other items noted in our ‘non-returnable’ list (if we have agreed you can return them) you will not receive a refund for the original postage cost you have paid.
  • For all customers, regardless of which Country you are from, you as the buyer/returner must pay for all return shipping costs. We will not refund you for return shipping costs. Any additional extra paid for Express or Rush Processing services (price paid for us to rush your order past our standard processing time) will not be refunded. If you are only returning part of your order which was delivered to the same address at the same time, then there will be no refund for delivery.
  • We will only pay for return shipping, if the products are faulty or miss-described. If you are cancelling your order because we have told you of an upcoming change to the product or these terms, an error in pricing or description. If we have made an error with your order. The maximum refund for deliver costs will be the costs of deliver by the least expensive delivery method we offer. For example, if we offer delivery of a product with a 1-5-day delivery (unsigned) at one cost, but you choose to have the product delivered by a 24 hours delivery at a higher cost, then we will only refund what you would have paid for the cheaper delivery option. (If you choose to send them back by a lower price than our lowest standard shipping method than we offer we will only refund you the price you have paid for postage). To receive a refund for return postage you must include a receipt of the price you have paid for postage, we will be unable to refund you the return price for postage if you have not included this. (You can either put the receipt in the package at the post office/as you post it, or you can email us a photocopy or picture of your receipt this must be clear & readable (no shadows))
  • Orders must be returned via the same shipping method we used to original send your item/s to you. E.g if we used USPS 1-2 working day courier to send your order, you must send the item/s back via this same method/shipping company & it must be insured for the full value of the item, failure to do so may mean your return is refused, delayed or a minimum of 25% will be deducted from your refund.
  • If your returned item is damaged/defected in any way due to you sending the item back to use using the incorrect shipping method, your refund will no longer be available & store credit may be issued instead, the value will depending on the damage to the original item/s.
  • Any free promotional gift given with your order or free gift/s given through a coupon code with your order must also be returned if you are returning the product(s) to which the gift relates. If the free gift/s was given with a minimum spend, you must return all the items with the free gift or at least you must keep items to the value of the minimum the spend promotion as per their specific T&Cs e.g. If the minimum spend is £10, you spent £15 (excluding the price of the free product) & you wish to return a £10 product you must return the free gift/s, but if you are only looking to return the £5 product & keep the £10 product you can keep the free gift.
  • If you fail to return the free gift with your order or comply with our T&Cs regarding free gifts or have already used/opened/removed packaging from the free gift so can no longer return it, the value of the free gift will be deducted from any refund or coupon value you may be given.
  • When asking for to return or to cancel your order for change of mind, you will be asked to provide proof that you have purchased the item from us here on Wicksteads.com this can be proven by giving us your order number on your order receipt. We will also ask for a picture of the packaging & item you would like to return. Failure to produce either of these may mean we will be unable to accept your refund or cancellation request.
  • If you believe your products are faulty, please contact us.
  • When asking for a return & refund for a faulty or damaged item, you will be asked to provide proof that you purchased the item from us here on Wicksteads.com this can be proven by giving us your order number on your order receipt. We will also ask for a picture of all the packaging, both the interior & exterior of the packaging & the item that is faulty or damaged you would like to return. Failure to produce either of these may mean we will be unable to accept your refund or cancellation request.
  • Refunds for faulty items may not be issued if: Failure to produce proof of purchase, pictures of the packaging as requested or pictures of the faulty/damaged item/s. If the item was listed as faulty/damaged in our descriptions &/or shown in our items pictures (mainly vintage & antique items, please read full descriptions before purchasing to avoid disappointment). If a damaged or faulty item is damage further by yourselves or someone else trying to repair it.
  • We reserve the right to examine and compare the returned good/s against the original good/s posted to you, and if we find that they differ i.e. they have been damaged, altered or swapped for similar, we reserve the right to refuse your return/ refund.

Non-Returnable Products
The following products cannot be returned.

  • Products that are personalised, bespoke, altered or otherwise made to your specification.
  • Custom orders, (including custom quantities, designs, colours, collections, sets & made to measure)
  • Perishable goods (including ‘Eat Me Edibles’ & some hampers, gift sets)
  • Vintage, Antique & Pre-loved items
  • Beauty products and fragrances
  • Certain accessories for health & safety reasons (e.g. pierced earrings)
  • Gift Cards, Gift E-Vouchers or Vouchers/Coupons
  • Event Tickets
  • All items purchased to go in a customers ‘Build a Box’
  • All items purchased with a Lay-Away plan 

Non-Cancellable Products
The following products cannot be cancelled (if your order has not been dispatched yet).

  • Products that are personalised, bespoke, altered or otherwise made to your specification.
  • Custom orders, (including custom quantities, designs, colours, collections, sets & made to measure)
  • Perishable goods (including ‘Eat Me Edibles’ & some hampers, gift sets)

  • Items purchased to go in a customers ‘Build a Box’ that have exceeded the 14 days (7 days for international orders)

Returns Process
Orders delivered to the UK or EU should be returned to the returns address on the back of the package you have received, you must dispatch your return within 14 days of your returns request approval. Orders delivered to International locations must dispatch your return within 7 days of your returns request approval, to the returns address on the back of the package you have received.

In order for your return to be processed, you must fill in our Wickstead’s returns form which will be emailed to you upon request of a refund. Failure to do so may mean your return is refused or delayed.

Orders must be returned via the same shipping method we used to original send your item/s to you. For International returns outside of the EU, there must be a customs label on your package & you MUST mark it with ‘Returned Purchase’ plus the content (see what we put on your customs label for content if you are unsure of what to put). If we are charged customs/taxes for your returned item due to miss labelling we will be unable to accept your order & it will be returned to you, no refund will be issued or we will deduct the customs charge from your entitled refund price.

If you do not see the returns address on the back of your package, please contact us for the address. Please note you will need to provide proof of postage, along with a picture of the original packaging for your order & the item you have ordered & would like to return.

Should you choose to return your order, the price for return postage, as well as the risk, loss or damage to your order on its return journey to us, shall be borne to you.

We reserve the right to change this policy from time to time at our discretion.

Gift Cards & Gift Messages

Gift Cards & E-Gift Cards
Gift Cards & E-Gift Cards can be used for full or part payment for products purchased through Wicksteads.com. Gift Cards & E-Gift Cards will expire 24 months after the date of purchase.

Although most Gift Cards will be an E-Gift Card (online gift card). For physical gift cards Wickstead’s will not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged Gift Cards. If there is any remaining balance on a lost, stolen or damaged Gift Card, Wickstead’s may be able to issue you a new replacement card. However, Wickstead’s will not be liable for any unauthorised purchases using the Gift Card prior to the cancellation of the card. We cannot transfer the balance of a Gift Card onto another Gift Card, other than an agreed replacement.

Gift Cards & E-Gift Cards are non-refundable. Refunds for returns on purchases made using a Gift Card or E-Gift Card will be issued to a new E-Gift Card only.

Gift Messages
You are responsible for the content of gift messages and we accept no liability for any such content. Please make sure that your message is spelt correctly, we will write your gift message exactly as you have written it. We reserve the right to refuse to send messages or to discontinue access to the gift message service at any time entirely at our own discretion and without liability to you.

Coupons, Promotions, Giveaways, Events & Prizes

If a promotional discount or coupon code was applied to your original order, the same discount will be applied to each product of your order upon return. You will only be refunded the amount that you originally paid for your order or any given product. Any free promotional gift given with your order or free gift/s given through a coupon code with your order must also be returned if you are returning the product(s) to which the gift relates. Terms & Conditions for each coupon, event, promotion or giveaway may vary, these will be laid out here in our Terms & Conditions & may be removed within 1-6 months after the promotion has ended & a copy will be saved by Wickstead’s.

*All Coupon Codes, Giveaways etc exclude listings which are to raise money for charities e.g Children in Need, Red Nose Day & Remembrance Day, unless otherwise stated so.

*If you have won a prize from an event, competition or giveaway. You must contact us with your address the day before the 1st dispatch date noted in the T&Cs of that event/giveaway or contest. You must also contact us with the item you wish to have as you prize (if applicable) before this dispatch date too (unless otherwise noted or discussed with you). Failure to contact us within the allotted time frame may forfeit your rights to the contest/giveaway/event prize & an alternative contestant may be chosen in your place.

*Prizes are noted in each competition. Alternative prize options from those mentioned in the contest’s will not be given. Designs & products realised after a contest ends are not part of the contest so therefore are not available to be chosen as a prize unless otherwise stated.

You cannot sell any of our Edibles on as they come or loose (just as wafer paper or Eat me Edible Transfer Sheets) or any of our non-edible creations on without any prior written permission from Tija & Angela Wickstead Wood.

Any NON-Edible Designs or Edible Designs as well as the images on our products that you purchase from us are for personal use only & cannot be used for commercial use of any kind (for example: cards, invites, decorations, decoupage, digital downloads, material goods etc/ i.e. anything and everything non-edible) they are protected under the International Copyright Law.

You cannot sell on any of our items you have purchased without prior written permission from Tija & Angela Wickstead Wood. Do not pass any of our designs & creations (e.g. AWDesignsUK Jewellery, ‘Eat Me Edibles’ etc) as your own, they are protected under international Copyright Law, any unauthorised use, copying, redistribution etc will constitute an infringement of copyright.

You can sell our Edible products if you have attached them/baked them on edible products of your own, for example Meringues, Chocolate, Lollipops, Isomalt, Cupcakes, Cookies/Biscuits, Cakes, Bread, or any other edible/drinkable product.
They can also be used/sold on soap products. If you will be selling your soaps online or offline with our designs on/in you MUST contact us first for written permission from us to do this. Notice will be give & action will be taken for failure to do so.
Please let us know if you are going to be selling any Baked (or any other product) with our edibles attached.
Bonus if you do tell us, is that as we would love to show your product off on our Customer’s photo gallery page which we may at our discretion link to your social media &/or website.

If you are found to be in violation of our Terms of Use for our Products action will be taken against you &/or your company.
