Oriental Chinese 3 Piece Tea Set Porcelain. Teapot Lidded Sugar Pot & Creamer Jug
Famille Vert Roosters Pattern.
Made in China for Export, circa 1920-30
Colourful Hand Painted enamels in traditional patterns, including lots of stylised flowers, a cherry blossom tree and 3 red Roosters….Used to symbolise Good Fortune & Luck.
Please see our other listings for a 24 piece tea set in this Roosters design. Although hand painted by another artist, so there are slight differences in the design, these would all go together so well to make one complete set.
This set consists of:
1 x Teapot .. approx. 2 1/4 pint capacity / 5.5 cups.. ( 8″ Tall)
1 x Lidded Two Handled Sugar / Sweets Pot .. ( 5 1/2″ Tall)
1 x Creamer / Milk Jug .. ( 5″ Tall )
